Time’s Columnist Says Glenn Beck And Sarah Palin Are Committing Sedition Against US Government
I don’t even know what to say. these people trashed Bush, the military and everyone else they didn’t agree with for 8 years and now somehow Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck And Rush Limbaugh are committing sedition? this makes me sick! these people are such hypocrites. its just another lefty/communist tactic of trying to scare your opponent into being quiet, stifling dissent by using these types of words to describe it
Liberals are all too often eager to charge conservative personalities of using hyperbole to gain a political advantage, especially when it contradicts their world view – whether it’s suggesting the Obama administration is taking the country down the path of socialism, fascism or any other -ism.
An Open Letter To Mz. Jennifer Lopez: You Are A Cheap and Classless Sell-Out
To Mz. “J-Lo”:
While I don’t watch the TBS ‘George Lopez’ late night TV show I did happen to tune in the night YOU were on a few nights ago. Perhaps it was what was intended when you did the tepid stand-up comedy routine … notoriety and controversy. It seems today celebrities are so lacking in original ideas and talent that they seem to lazily and lamely resort to personal attacks on an accomplished woman, who if her political party affiliation were of the opposite aisle, would be held up as some demi-goddess by you and your shallow community of clowns and circus entertainers. But politics aside, I had always gauged you as someone who was a bit more polite and cordial in your personal opinions, seeking to tap into your own talents and charms to entertain and delight audiences. I have followed you since your days on “In Living Color”, to your music and your lovely depiction of Selena in the movie biography of the wonderful young woman … and to your acting in feature movies. They have all been very entertaining and pleasing. I write now to say that it appears I was horribly wrong about you.
Sarah Palin To Headline First Tea Party Convention
Sarah Palin will headline first-ever Tea Party Convention
Sarah Palin’s appearance is a coup for a movement now getting grudging respect from mainstream commentators. But will the feisty Tea Party movement coalesce with the GOP’s old guard?
By Patrik Jonsson @ CSM
Atlanta
Almost 1-1/2 years since she shook up American politics with her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is set to headline another landmark political event: the first-ever Tea Party Convention next month in Nashville, Tenn.
On its face, the gig would seem a step down for Ms. Palin, one of conservative America’s most popular and polarizing figures (not to mention major thorn in the side of the Obama White House).
Arnold “Worst Republican Ever” Schwarzenegger Attacks Sarah Palin On Climate Change
Seriously, are there any characteristics he holds that makes him a Republican? California is swimming in debt (or drowning) and now he supports climate change. even going to Copenhagen to support cap and trade. He has brought too much of Europe with him and i think unfortunately that is an unresolvable problem.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is delivering his big speech in Copenhagen right now — but before he took the stage he offered an opening salvo — a whack at fellow Republican Sarah Palin who has expressed skepticism about global warming.
The FT, which is on quite a roll:
Sarah Palin: The Left and Al Gore All “Wee-Weed-Up” Over Her Anti-Climate Change Op-Ed
Sarah Palin Washington Post Op-Ed bashing Copenhagen global warming summit has critics steaming mad
By Ethan Sacks
Sarah Palin’s Op-Ed in Wednesday’s Washington Post slamming the Copenhagen climate change summiteers for using “agenda-driven” global warming science has heated up critics’ temperatures.
Pointing to “Climate-gate,” the leaked e-mails from a British climate research center last month that suggested that scientists inflated evidence to pad their case for global warming, the former Republican vice presidential nominee went rogue in her op-ed piece about how the U.S. shouldn’t pay — literally and figuratively — for untrustworthy science.
Palin Finally Addresses The Obama Birth Certificate Issue
I have stayed away from making this is an issue, but i do believe it’s wrong to consider those who want to know whether our President is an American citizen or not a bunch of nutcase conspiracy theorists. i dont think its acceptable to deem an entire segment of people as that just for asking a question in regards to something that has been expected of all former Presidents. the question comes from this President being different than all the ones who came before him, and i am not speaking of race either. I just mean he lived in Indonesia when he was a kid, went to Islamic schools. was born in Hawaii at a time where it was right around the time it became a state or possibly wasn’t one yet. there truly are reasons behind why some question this President’s eligibility to serve. if he would just come out with it then it would all go away. if the real certificate does not exist then we have another set of problems. but just show it so everyone can move on.
Sarah Palins Calls On Obama To Boycott Copenhagen And Investigate The “Climate Experts”
The president’s decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to “hide the decline” in global temperatures, and conspired to silence the critics of man-made global warming. I support Senator James Inhofe’s call for a full investigation into this scandal. Because it involves many of the same personalities and entities behind the Copenhagen conference, Climategate calls into question many of the proposals being pushed there, including anything that would lead to a cap and tax plan.
Sarah Palin And Michele Bachmann To Headline First National Tea Party Convention
2 of my favorite ladies
(CNN) – Sarah Palin will be the main attraction at what’s being billed as the “First National Tea Party Convention.”
Tea Party Nation announced Wednesday that last year’s Republican vice presidential candidate will serve as keynote speaker for the conference, scheduled to take place in Nashville, Tennessee February 4-6. A representative for Palin has not confirmed the former Alaska governor’s speaking role at the gathering.
The group also announced that Rep. Michele Bachmann will be speaking at the gathering as well. The Minnesota Republican has become a hero among many in the conservative movement. A representative for Bachmann confirms her speaking role.
Going Rogue Sells 700,000 Copies The First Week
NEW YORK — Sarah Palin appears well on her way to becoming a million-selling author.
“Going Rogue” sold 700,000 copies — a number that includes pre-orders — in its first week of release, according to a publishing official close to the former Alaska governor.
The official was not authorized to release the sales figure and asked not to be identified.
Palin’s memoir came out Nov. 17 with a first printing of 1.5 million copies. On Friday, publisher HarperCollins announced that the printing would be increased to 2.5 million.
Few nonfiction books have debuted so well. In 2004, Bill Clinton’s “My Life” sold more than 900,000 copies in its first week.
DNC: Sarah Palin Is “Dangerous”
With Sarah Palin in the spotlight as she continues her nationwide media and book tour, the Democratic National Committee is suggesting to its supporters that the former GOP vice presidential candidate could pose a real threat to the Democratic agenda.
In a fundraising e-mail sent out Friday, Organizing for America — the community organizing component of the DNC founded in the wake of Barack Obama’s inauguration — said it is aiming to raise $500,000 in the next week “to help push back against Sarah Palin and her allies.”
AP Geniuses Break Palin’s Book Down Into A Word Cloud
WASHINGTON – Not a speed reader? Want to get through Sarah Palin’s new book in a flash?
A look at Palin’s most frequently used words capture some of the key themes of the former Alaska governor’s memoir: Alaska, campaign, Todd, family, kids, right, governor, government, oil, work, energy.
The Associated Press electronically scanned the book, “Going Rogue,” and, using software to highlight the most common words, created a “word cloud” that captures the book in a nutshell. The software filters out common words like “and,” “or,” “like,” and “the,” presents the most substantive words visually.
The roughly 127,000-word book covers Palin’s life before politics, her years in local government in Wasilla, Alaska, her tenure as governor and her failed vice presidential campaign with Republican presidential nominee John McCain.
Sarah Palin’s Appearance Boosted Oprah’s Ratings To Highest In Years
But the left claims she has no power. sure they have no reason to fear her
Oprah Winfrey’s interview with former vp candidate Sarah Palin scored the talk show host her highest rating in two years.
Monday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” drew a 8.7 household rating and 13 share — the best since Winfrey had the entire Osmond family on the show in 2007.
That means Palin also topped Winfrey’s heavily viewed interviews with Whitney Houston at the start of the season.
Palin is making the rounds to promote her new book, “Going Rogue,” which came out Tuesday.

Going Rogue: An American Life
by Sarah Palin
Chapter Four; Section 8, pages 255-257
By the third week in September, a “Free Sarah” campaign was under way and the press at large was growing increasingly critical of the McCain camp’s decision to keep me, my family and friends back home, and my governor’s staff all bottled up. Meanwhile, the question of which news outlet would land the first interview was a big deal, as it always is with a major party candidate.
Uh Oh: Sarah Palin Vs Bawney Fwank At The Gridiron Dinner
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be the Republican speaker at the Gridiron Club’s Winter Dinner on Dec. 5, the club announced Friday.
Gridiron Club President Dick Cooper told club members earlier this afternoon that Palin accepted an invitation to speak at the black-tie affair, according to a member of the club’s executive committee.
Meg Stapleton, a spokeswoman for Palin, confirmed that Palin planned to address the dinner in an e-mail to POLITICO: “The Governor was honored to accept the invitation.”
Also speaking at the dinner will be Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), whom the club invited to represent his party at the event.
Leftists Set To Release Deceptive Look Alike Book The Same Day As Sarah Palin’s Book ‘Going Rogue’
We know that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin can hunt, and even field-dress a moose, but how will she take to poachers on her book sales? Start-up publisher OR Books has announced plans to publish Going Rouge: Sarah Palin An American Nightmare, a collection of essays about the maverick Republican with a title — and cover design — remarkably similar to Palin’s upcoming memoir. What’s more, OR’s paperback tome will be released on Nov. 17, the same day that Palin’s own Going Rogue: An American Life hits shelves — and one day after Palin’s just-announced, first-ever appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s show. (A shout-out to Ron Hogan at GalleyCat for the tip.)
